Islamabad: In a pioneering move to bolster agricultural progress, Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that targets enhanced financial inclusion and support for Pakistan’s smallholder farmers. This collaboration is set to integrate essential agricultural resources with financial services, aiming to boost productivity and improve livelihoods within the farming community.
According to Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, the MOU, signed by Mr. Asad Murad, Chief Operating Officer of Fatima Fertilizer, and Mr. Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti, President and CEO of ZTBL, marks a significant milestone in the industry. The ceremony saw attendance from senior officials of both organizations, symbolizing a collective effort to address the challenges faced by Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
