Karachi: Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited has achieved the top position in the Human Rights category at the United Nations Global Compact Network Pakistan (GCNP) Sustainability Awards 2026. This accolade highlights the company's dedication to responsible business practices and its positive impact on employees, farmers, and communities.
According to Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, the award underscores a significant milestone in their sustainability journey, which was officially initiated in November 2024. At that time, Fatima Fertilizer became the first private-sector organization in Pakistan to adopt the UNDP SDG Impact Framework. This framework allows the company to align its activities with 15 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 49 targets across eight priority impact areas.
Fatima Fertilizer's sustainability strategy is deeply embedded in its support for Pakistan's agriculture sector and the enhancement of community well-being. The company's initiatives address various aspects including farmer livelihoods, food security, employee well-being, women's empowerment, education, skills development, environmental stewardship, climate action, resource efficiency, digital inclusion, and responsible agricultural practices.
