Lahore: Fatima Fertilizer, in collaboration with the Government Agriculture Department and local authorities, held the Sarsabz Kissan Convention in Multan, bringing together over 1,300 farmers to discuss innovative practices for increasing wheat yields and improving agricultural productivity.

The convention focused on encouraging farmers who achieved top positions in the Government's wheat high-yield competition. By utilizing Sarsabz Nitrophos and CAN fertilizers, these farmers secured 97 top-three positions in various districts. The event aimed to inspire others to adopt these fertilizers to enhance wheat yields and profitability.

Experts from Fatima Fertilizer emphasized the importance of balanced fertilizer use, highlighting Sarsabz Nitrophos and CAN's role in improving soil fertility and achieving a 10% or higher per-acre yield increase.

Rabel Sadozai, Director of Marketing and Sales at Fatima Fertilizer, reiterated the company's commitment to supporting farmers with high-quality products and advisory services. "Our goal is to help farmers achieve higher yields, improve soil health, and contribute to a sustainable agricultural ecosystem," Sadozai said.

Senior officials from the Punjab Agriculture Department, along with local leaders, attended the event. Attendees included Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Secretary of Agriculture, Punjab, and Sarfraz Hussain Magsi, Special Secretary of Agriculture for Southern Punjab, among others.

Fatima Fertilizer announced awards for top-performing farmers, with provincial winners receiving tractors and district-level winners receiving motorcycles and LCDs. The awards were presented by Rabel Sadozai and Iftikhar Ali Sahoo as recognition for the farmers' contributions to wheat productivity.

The Sarsabz Kissan Convention is part of Fatima Fertilizer's efforts to empower farmers with knowledge and fertilizer solutions, driving productivity and contributing to Pakistan's economic growth. The event underscored the role of Sarsabz Nitrophos and CAN in increasing farmers' income and addressing food security challenges.
