Karachi: Fauji Fertilizer Company Ltd. (FFC) has reported a 9% increase in standalone earnings for the first half of the calendar year 2026, amounting to PkR41.8 billion, up from PkR38.5 billion in the same period last year. The rise in earnings is attributed primarily to increased offtakes, the company announced during a corporate briefing session discussing its financial results and future outlook.
According to AKD Securities Limited, FFC's urea sales surged by 25% year-over-year to 1.4 million tons, markedly outpacing the industry's growth rate of 7%. This has resulted in an increase in FFC's market share from 48% in the same period last year to 56%. Additionally, the company's DAP sales grew by 11% year-over-year to 318,000 tons, compared to the industry's 7% increase, which led to an improvement in market share from 63% to 65%. FFC currently holds a DAP inventory of 159,000 tons, representing 59% of the total industry stock.
