Federal Planning Minister Engages Foreign Investors in Karachi

Karachi: The Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, engaged with foreign investors and business leaders at the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) to discuss economic stabilization efforts in Pakistan. The dialogue centered around fostering a business-friendly environment and highlighted the government's economic initiatives.

According to a statement by Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Iqbal provided an overview of the government's economic agenda, emphasizing the Uraan Pakistan - The 5Es National Economic Transformation Plan. He reiterated the government's commitment to reforms to tackle investor challenges and promote sustainable growth.

"The government is committed to ensuring economic stability and fostering a predictable policy environment for investors," Mr. Iqbal stated, highlighting the aim to transform Pakistan into a hub for innovation and investment through initiatives like Uraan Pakistan.

Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President of OICCI, praised the government's stabilization efforts and focus on creating a business-friendly environment. He expressed optimism about continued collaboration to enhance Pakistan's investment appeal.
