Karachi: The foreign exchange rates in Pakistan showed slight fluctuations across major currencies over the past two days, as per the latest data provided by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar was bought at 279.50 and sold at 280.70 on 21st September, experiencing a minor decrease to 279.37 and 280.68 for buying and selling, respectively, by 23rd September. The euro saw a purchase rate of 308.55 and a selling rate of 311.52 on the first day, which then adjusted to 306.84 and 309.86. The British pound shifted from a buying rate of 368.46 and a selling rate of 371.85, down to 367.38 and 370.87.
The Japanese yen and the Saudi Riyal also recorded modest adjustments over the period. The yen moved from buying at 1.92 and selling at 1.97 on 21st September to 1.90 and 1.95 by 23rd September. The Riyal altered slightly from a buying rate of 73.75 and selling at 74.40, to 73.70 and 74.39. The UAE Dirham maintained stability, being consistently bought at 75.45 and sold at 76.20 across both days. Additionally, the interbank rate for the US dollar was noted at 277.87 for buying and 278.07 for selling on 23rd September.
