Fly Jinnah Expands International Service with New Lahore-Sharjah Route

Karachi, Fly Jinnah, a prominent low-cost airline in Pakistan, launched its second international flight today, connecting Lahore with Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This new route, marked by an inaugural ceremony at Lahore International Airport and a subsequent celebration in Sharjah, underscores the airline's rapid expansion in international operations, which began just over a month ago.

According to Fly Jinnah, the service commenced on February 18, 2024, with its first international flight from Islamabad to Sharjah. The introduction of the Lahore-Sharjah route highlights the carrier's focus on enhancing air connectivity between Pakistan and the UAE and reaffirms its commitment to providing passengers with affordable and high-value air travel options.

The flight schedule for the new Lahore-Sharjah route, effective from March 27, 2024, includes two daily flights in each direction. Flight 9P 500 departs Lahore at 12:25 and arrives in Sharjah at 15:00, while flight 9P 501 leaves Sharjah at 15:40, reaching Lahore at 19:30. An evening flight, 9P 502, departs Lahore at 21:00 and arrives in Sharjah at 23:15, with the return flight, 9P 503, leaving Sharjah at 23:55 and landing in Lahore at 03:55. All flights are operated using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Fly Jinnah’s spokesperson emphasized the significance of the new service, stating that the airline is dedicated to strengthening the connection between Pakistan and the UAE, providing passengers with more affordable travel options. The spokesperson highlighted the airline's quick expansion in international routes as a testament to its growing commitment to meet the demands of its customers for both domestic and international travel.

Fly Jinnah boasts a modern fleet of five Airbus A320 aircraft and now connects five major cities in Pakistan—Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta—with Sharjah, its new international destination. The airline prides itself on offering comfort and value to its passengers, featuring the most generous seat-pitch in its economy cabin, an affordable onboard menu called "SkyCafe," and a free in-flight streaming service, "SkyTime," for passenger entertainment.
