Karachi: Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s burgeoning low-cost airline, announced the introduction of new non-stop flights from Lahore, Pakistan, to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting November 15, 2024. This service, set to operate twice a week, aims to enhance the travel convenience between these two major cities and strengthen economic and trade relations between the countries.

According to Fly Jinnah, the flights will initially run on Mondays and Fridays, with a third weekly flight added on Sundays beginning December 6. The service will connect Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore with King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh using an Airbus A320.

Fly Jinnah’s spokesperson stated, “The launch of our new route from Lahore to Riyadh highlights our commitment to offering seamless and convenient travel options for our passengers. This addition provides travelers with greater comfort and affordability while strengthening the connectivity between the two nations and paving the way for increased economic collaboration and trade.”

This route expansion follows Fly Jinnah’s strategy to extend its footprint in the Gulf region. The airline currently operates other regional services, including flights from Lahore to Sharjah, as well as from Islamabad to Bahrain, Muscat, and Sharjah.

Fly Jinnah, with a modern fleet of five Airbus A320 aircraft, serves five major Pakistani cities—Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta—and continues to expand its network while focusing on providing value-driven travel experiences. The airline is also known for offering the most generous seat-pitch in its economy class and features “SkyCafe,” an onboard menu with a variety of affordable snacks and meals.
