Foodpanda Amplifies Support for Gaza Through PSL Final Donations

Islamabad, In an inspiring display of solidarity and support, foodpanda, Pakistan's premier delivery platform, has committed to making significant donations for Gaza during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final featuring Islamabad United against Multan Sultans. For each run scored and wicket taken by Islamabad United, foodpanda will contribute PKR 10,000 and PKR 100,000, respectively, in collaboration with the World Food Program (WFP).

According to Foodpanda, this initiative aligns with their ongoing efforts to assist the people of Gaza, building on the success of a similar campaign during a previous Islamabad United match. The PSL final, set for 9 pm on March 18, 2024, serves as an additional platform for foodpanda to extend its support, leveraging the widespread enthusiasm for cricket to foster community involvement and aid.

Muntaqa Peracha, CEO of foodpanda Pakistan, expressed the company's dedication to the cause, highlighting the initiative as an opportunity for cricket fans to participate in a meaningful act of generosity. By integrating the donation drive within the foodpanda app, the company encourages users to contribute directly to the relief efforts in Gaza, enhancing the impact of their support.

This philanthropic endeavor by foodpanda, in partnership with the WFP, reflects a commitment to humanitarian aid, harnessing the power of sports to unite people in a common goal of assistance and empathy towards those in need. As Islamabad United takes the field, fans are invited not only to enjoy the game but also to engage in this significant act of solidarity with Gaza.
