Foreign Currency Exchange Rates Remain Steady, Minor Fluctuations Observed

Islamabad: The foreign currency exchange rates provided by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan for September 11 and 12, 2024, show minimal changes in the buying and selling rates across major currencies including the USD, EURO, and GBP.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the buying rate for USD remained nearly constant at approximately 279.44 over the two days, while the selling rate stood at 280.85. The EURO saw a slight increase in its buying and selling rates, moving from 306.32 and 309.30 on the first day to 306.40 and 309.44 respectively on the following day. GBP buying rates decreased slightly from 363.51 to 362.89, with selling rates adjusting from 366.99 to 366.45.

Other currencies like the JPY, AED, and SR showed negligible variations in their exchange rates. The interbank rates for the USD also reflected stability, with a minor decrease from 278.54 to 278.44 in buying rates and 278.74 to 278.64 in selling rates over the observed period.
