Islamabad: The foreign exchange rates for major currencies like the USD, EURO, and GBP exhibited slight changes from Friday to Sunday, as per the latest data.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on the 14th of September, the buying rate for the USD stood at 279.61, with a selling rate of 280.75. By the 16th of September, the buying rate adjusted minimally to 279.60. The EURO increased from a buying rate of 307.70 to 308.80, and the selling rate moved from 310.62 to 311.76 over the same period. The GBP saw a rise in the buying rate from 364.67 to 366.03 and in the selling rate from 368.08 to 369.55.
The Japanese Yen (JPY) and the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) remained stable with only minor adjustments in their rates. The Saudi Riyal (SR) buying and selling rates held steady, showing no significant changes.
Interbank rates for the USD were reported on the 16th of September at 278.13 for buying and 278.33 for selling, reflecting a tight range typical for interbank exchanges.
