Karachi: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), in partnership with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), will host the "AgriFood: Global Investment and Partnership Conference & Expo" on May 14, 2026, at the ICCD Headquarters in Karachi. The event aims to foster investment and enhance international partnerships in Pakistan's agriculture sector.
According to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh emphasized the collaboration with ICCD as a commitment to unlocking the potential of Pakistan's agriculture and agri-based industries. Sheikh reiterated FPCCI's support in facilitating engagement between local and international stakeholders, highlighting the sector's significance to the national economy.
The conference is designed as a platform to strengthen trade linkages, attract investment, and showcase Pakistan's agricultural capabilities. Sheikh assured full cooperation for the event's success, noting plans for comprehensive participation from Agriculture Chambers across provinces, leaders from key sectoral associations, and academia. Prominent chambers of commerce and industry are also expected to attend.
In light of global and regional developments, Sheikh also mentioned plans to include international delegates and members of the diplomatic community, ensuring a broad representation and impactful discussions.
