Karachi: In a landmark achievement for Pakistan’s business sector, Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), has been selected as the winner of the 9th Asia-Pacific Young Entrepreneur Award 2026.
According to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the award, which recognizes exceptional leadership and contributions to regional commerce, is conferred by the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI). The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry nominated Mr. Sheikh for the accolade, with the FPCCI endorsing the nomination.
This recognition is a significant honor for Pakistan, highlighting the strength of its entrepreneurial landscape. The national business community has expressed pride and extended congratulations to Mr. Sheikh for this achievement.
In addition to his role as FPCCI President, Mr. Sheikh holds various international and domestic leadership positions. He serves as President of the ECO-CCI and is involved in multilateral trade dialogues. He is also Vice President of both the SAARC-CCI and CACCI, and Deputy Chairman of the SCO Business Council. In the private sector, he leads as Chairman of the Mujahid Group of Industries.
Mr. Sheikh will be formally presented with the award at the 40th CACCI Conference, scheduled for November 4 and 5, 2026, in Manila, Philippines. The ceremony, attended by international business leaders and trade delegates, will take place on November 5, 2026, at the Hotel Okada.
