Karachi: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) announced the launch of a new digital media channel designed to enhance communication on economic, social, and societal challenges. The platform aims to bolster awareness and foster deeper connections within the business community, government, educational sectors, and the general public.
According to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the announcement was made during the first meeting of the FPCCI’s Standing Committee on “Press and Electronic Media.” The session featured speeches from FPCCI Senior Vice President Saqib Fayyaz Mughni and other prominent members, highlighting the channel’s potential to amplify FPCCI’s voice and provide actionable insights to policymakers and global financial institutions.
Saqib Fayyaz Mughni underscored the importance of addressing the current economic challenges and detailed FPCCI’s strategic vision through a 2030 plan aimed at boosting Pakistan’s exports to $100 billion. The digital channel is expected to play a critical role in this initiative by disseminating valuable information and fostering a collaborative environment among stakeholders.
Other attendees, including former FPCCI President Zubair Tufail and FPCCI Vice Presidents, expressed their views on the essential role of the media in promoting positive national achievements and advocating for necessary reforms in sectors like infrastructure following recent setbacks due to heavy rains in Karachi.
