Karachi: President of the Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) Karachi Region, Malik Khuda Bakhsh, extended his congratulations to General Syed Asim Munir for receiving the "Baton of Field Marshal" from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This accolade was awarded in recognition of his leadership during Operation Buny?n al-Mars?s, which Malik described as a victory in the battle for truth and a source of national pride.

During a PBF meeting, Malik emphasized that Pakistan's pursuit of peace should not be mistaken for weakness. He assured that the country's armed forces are capable of defending the nation's sovereignty, as demonstrated by their decisive actions, which have showcased these capabilities globally.

Malik highlighted that under Field Marshal Asim Munir's leadership, Pakistan dismantled the enemy's arrogance and that Pakistani media has effectively countered Indian propaganda, elevating its standing on the global stage.

He also praised the business community's support for Prime Minister Sharif's commitment to peace, development, and prosperity, stating that unity and determination are key to Pakistan's progress.

Additionally, Malik condemned a recent attack in Khuzdar that targeted a vehicle carrying children, describing it as a heinous act perpetrated by enemies of Pakistan. He affirmed the nation's solidarity with the Army Chief and armed forces in combating anti-state forces.
