Karachi: Ghandhara Automobiles Ltd. (GAL) announced a substantial rise in profits for the fiscal year 2026, as detailed in its recent corporate briefing. The company reported a profit of PKR 6.4 billion, a notable increase from PKR 4.1 billion in the same period last year, attributed to higher volumetric sales and improved gross margins.

According to AKD Securities Limited, GAL's FY26 revenue reached PKR 47.1 billion, marking a 36% year-over-year increase from PKR 34.5 billion. This growth was primarily fueled by strong performance in the commercial vehicle segment and JAC pickups. The company's gross margins expanded to 20.4%, up from 18.4% in the previous year, driven by a production utilization rate of 107%. GAL assembled 11,673 units across the Dongfeng, JAC, and Isuzu brands, compared to 7,799 units in the same period last year, underlining the company's robust operational performance.
