Sialkot, December 02, 2021 (PPI-OT):H.E. Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, President AJK Ch. Maqbool Ahmed, Advisor to PM AJK, Hafiz Hamid Raza, Minister for Religious Affairs AJK, Muhammad Riaz, Deputy Speaker AJK Assembly, and Ch. Pervaiz Ahmed Warraich, Advisor to PM AJK visited Sialkot Chamber and welcomed by Sh. Zohaib Rafique Sethi, Senior Vice President SCCI, Mr. Qasim Malik, Vice President SCCI and executive Committee of SCCI.

Sh. Zohaib Rafique Sethi gave a brief introduction about Sialkot made products and achievements of business community of Sialkot in terms of its contribution of 2.5 billion USD in Pakistan’s total exporting figures. The joint efforts of businessmen of Sialkot had served the purpose to establish state of the art Airport, Dry port and AirSial, he added.

H.E. Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry thanked Sh. Zohaib Rafique Sethi and Mr. Qasim Malik for the graceful welcome and shared with the house that Azad Jammu and Kashmir had the growing potential of producing hydroelectricity and mining of minerals.

The President said that AJK lacked industrialization and the gap could be filled after receiving due cooperation from the Industrialist of Sialkot and further exploring the investment opportunities available in the Industrial Zones of AJK.

Sh. Zohaib Rafique Sethi stated that Sialkot Chamber had a vision to promote business not only in Sialkot but all over the Pakistan, therefore the Chamber would assist the noble cause of the Government of AJK to support sustainable development of the region.
