Islamabad: Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Pakistan’s first commercial bank, has been awarded the ‘Best Conventional Bank of the Year Excellence Award’ at the 12th FPCCI Excellence Awards. The prestigious accolade was presented by President Asif Ali Zardari to Muhammad Nassir Salim, President and CEO of HBL, recognizing the bank’s significant contributions to the country’s banking sector and economic development.

According to Habib Bank Limited, the ceremony took place in Islamabad on October 8, 2024, marking a momentous occasion for the bank which was established in 1947 and has since grown into one of Pakistan’s largest financial institutions. Muhammad Nassir Salim, in his remarks, expressed profound gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing it as a testament to the hard work and dedication of HBL’s team.
