Hub Power Company Reports 8% Increase in Annual Profit for FY26

Karachi: The Hub Power Company Ltd (HUBC) announced an 8% increase in its consolidated net profit after tax (NPAT) for the fiscal year 2026, amounting to PkR49.6 billion, during an analyst briefing earlier today. The company also declared a cash dividend of PkR20 per share for the year.

According to AKD Securities Limited, HUBC's diverse portfolio includes power generation with a capacity of 2,289 megawatts, exploration and production capabilities of 602 million cubic feet per day, coal mining with a capacity of 7.6 million tons per annum, and an electric vehicle assembly plant currently under construction in Karachi. The briefing also highlighted that the power plant load factors for FY26 were reported at 69% for both TEL and TNTPL, 48% for Laraib, 11% for CPHGC, and 9% for Narowal. TEL and TNTPL collectively generated 3,646 gigawatt-hours during the year and commenced dividend payouts upon project completion.
