Islamabad: inDrive, a global mobility and delivery platform, has announced the appointment of Abhey Lamba as its Chief Financial Officer. This strategic addition to the executive team comes as the company aims to expand its operations and transform into a multifunctional Super App.
According to inDrive, Lamba will lead the company's global finance operations, managing financial planning, reporting, accounting, tax, and investor relations. His role is critical as inDrive seeks to grow its core mobility services and broaden its offerings to include delivery, groceries, advertising, and financial services for drivers.
Lamba, who previously served as CFO at RingCentral, brings extensive experience in technology and finance. His career also includes leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, Cisco, and Autodesk, and a significant tenure as a Wall Street equity analyst. Lamba holds degrees from IIT Bombay, the University of Connecticut, and The Wharton School.
Arsen Tomsky, founder and CEO of inDrive, expressed confidence in Lamba's expertise, citing his strategic leadership capabilities in financial planning, analysis, and investor relations. Tomsky noted that Lamba's appointment, alongside recent executive hires, underscores inDrive's commitment to strengthening its senior management team.
The announcement follows a successful year for inDrive, which reported a 30% increase in global Gross Bookings and a 31% rise in revenue in 2025. The platform also achieved notable growth in Pakistan, recording significant increases in both intercity rides and deliveries during the Eid-ul-Fitr season.
