Karachi: inDrive has announced the official rollout of its new "Trip Audio Recording" feature in Pakistan, aiming to enhance safety during rides. This feature enables both passengers and drivers to manually record audio during their trips through the app's Safety Center, allowing for a reliable framework in documenting the journey environment.

According to inDrive, the introduction of this feature supports the company's safety teams in evaluating incidents accurately using verified audio data. Awais Saeed, Country Manager for inDrive Pakistan, stated that this tool removes uncertainty from dispute resolution by providing an objective, secure record. This transparency protocol ensures that audio is recorded only when activated by the user, with immediate encryption of the files. The recordings are protected from playback, download, or sharing by any party, including inDrive itself.
