Faisalabad: Interloop Ltd, a leading textile manufacturer, has expressed optimism about its financial outlook, forecasting continued earnings growth in the fiscal year 2027. The company's management shared these insights during a Corporate Briefing Session held yesterday, highlighting the improved performance in fiscal year 2026, where the earnings per share rose to Rs9.38 from Rs3.84 in the previous year.
According to JS Global, the improved financial results for FY26 were attributed to a reduction in losses from the apparels plant, enhancements in garment operations, increased margins in the yarn segment, and a decrease in financial charges. Looking ahead, Interloop anticipates further earnings growth in FY27, driven by profitability in the denim segment and cost savings from the abolition of the super tax and reduced financial charges.
The company also addressed potential challenges posed by the India-EU Free Trade Agreement. Management expects the agreement to significantly impact the knitwear and denim segments but does not foresee major competitive threats in the hosiery segment.
