Karachi: The Central Depository Company (CDC), under the guidance of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and in collaboration with leading Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and brokerage houses, is hosting the “Investor Weekend 2024” at Dolmen Mall Clifton from October 11 to 13. This three-day event is part of the global World Investor Week 2024 initiative, aimed at enhancing investor education and protection.

According to Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, the event will be inaugurated by prominent figures including Mr. Abdul Rehman Warraich and Mr. Mujtaba Ahmad Lodhi, Commissioners of SECP, as well as Mr. Farrukh H. Sabzwari, Chairman of CDC, and Mr. Badiuddin Akber, CEO of CDC. Representatives from top asset management companies, stock brokers, and other financial institutions will also be present.

The ground floor of Dolmen Mall Clifton will transform into a hub for capital market interactions, featuring participation from CDC, SECP, and leading financial entities such as ABL Funds, AKD Securities, Al-Habib Funds, Al-Meezan Investment Management Limited, Atlas Asset Management, Faysal Funds, HBL Asset Management Limited, MCB Funds, Pakistan Mercantile Exchange, Trust Securities and Brokerage Limited, UBL Funds, and WE Financials. These organizations will share their expertise and experiences to assist the public in making safe and informed investment decisions, thereby promoting a robust investment culture in Pakistan.
