Lahore: International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) has unveiled a new generation of flexible packaging films at the 3P Plas Print Pack Pakistan 2026 event, underscoring its focus on sustainable and export-oriented packaging solutions.
According to International Packaging Films Limited, the company presented its latest offerings at the Expo Centre Lahore, where the exhibition runs from September 3 to 5, 2026. The new product line includes a variety of films such as coated films, AlOx transparent barrier films, ultra-high-barrier metallized films, and several others designed for food, FMCG, and consumer-facing industries. These products focus on enhancing barrier performance, extending shelf life, improving recyclability, and increasing material efficiency.
This launch signifies IPAK's strategic move into more specialized and higher-value packaging applications, aiming to serve both domestic and international markets with technically advanced products. The initiative is expected to play a significant role in diversifying Pakistan's export sector by moving local manufacturers beyond conventional products and potentially generating additional foreign exchange.
The broader availability of specialized films domestically could also support import substitution by decreasing reliance on specific packaging materials currently imported. At 3P Pakistan, IPAK is engaging with packaging converters, FMCG companies, exporters, and international buyers, as it emphasizes advanced manufacturing, sustainability, and value-added exports as central to its growth strategy.
