Johar Kandahari Appointed as Honorary Advisor to Federal Tax Ombudsman to Address Business Tax Concerns

Karachi: Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah, the Federal Tax Ombudsman, has appointed Johar Kandahari, President of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (Kati), as Honorary Advisor. In his new role, Kandahari will facilitate communication between the business community and the ombudsman, aiming to resolve ongoing tax issues and improve system efficiency.

According to Korangi Association of Trade and Industry, Kandahari’s appointment is seen as a crucial step in bridging the gap between local businesses and regulatory authorities. He will engage with various local chambers and trade associations to address their tax-related concerns, aiming for swift and effective solutions. Additionally, Kandahari is tasked with submitting recommendations to reduce these issues, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing Pakistan’s economic stability through tax reform.
