According to JS Global, the benchmark KSE-100 index closed the day at 77,740, down by 147 points, in a session marked by narrow trading ranges and light volume.
JS Global's report highlights that the market moved between 78,241 and 77,596 points during the day, with the index ultimately losing ground. Analysts expect the market to continue its range-bound behavior, possibly influenced by upcoming corporate results, and advise investors to maintain a cautious approach.
The report also detailed the day's trading data, showing a slight contraction in market capitalization, with the PSX Market Cap falling to 10,344.23 billion rupees. The volume leaders included HASCOL, WTL, and WAVESAPP, indicating a varied interest across different sectors.
