Karachi, April 22, 2022 (PPI-OT): View from the desk

The KSE100 index closed at 45,553, down 100 points DoD. Total volume traded today was 218mn where CNERGY (2.5%), HUMNL (4.9%), LOTCHEM (-3.9%), TPLP (-0.8%) and GGL (7.5%) were the volume leaders. Major index laggards were PSEL, KAPCO, COLG, PAKT and EFERT. Going forward, we recommend investors to avail the ongoing correction as a buying opportunity with focus on Refineries, Oil and Gas and Banking sectors.
