Karachi, July 25, 2022 (PPI-OT): View from the desk

The KSE-100 index witnessed a bearish session where it closed at 39,844, losing 233 points compared to Friday’s session. A total of 75mn shares were traded where TPLP (0.7%), WTL (0%), LOTCHEM (6.9%), UNITY (3.2%) and CNERGY (0%) were the major contributors. Going forward, market is expected to remain negative due to the current political scenario and delay in finalization of deal with the IMF. JS Securities Limited recommends investors to stay cautious as we believe market may test the 38,100 level.
