KSE100 index remained volatile today due to fears of further currency depreciation and news related to political tensions in Punjab. The index closed at 39,973, gaining 78 points DoD. A total of 122mn shares were traded where LOTCHEM (5.6%), WTL (-1.7%), TPLP (-0.3%), CNERGY (-1.0%) and UNITY (-1.4%) were the volume leaders. We recommend investors to stay cautious at these levels.
