Uncertainty over the economic outlook kept investors away from healthy participation. The index closed flat at 41,568 (losing 9 points DoD). A total of 157mn shares were traded where TPLP (1.5%), UNITY (-4.7%), PRL (-2.3%), SNGP (7.5%) and WTL (-0.7%) were the major contributors. Going forward, we expect the range-bound activity to continue and recommend investors to adopt a buy-on-dip strategy focusing on dividend-yielding stocks.
