Karachi, June 29, 2022 (PPI-OT): View from the desk

The KSE-100 Index closed at 41,297, losing 468 points DoD. Traded volume stood at 142mn shares where KEL (-1.3%), WTL (-2.2%), HASCOL (6.0%), CNERGY (-0.4%) and TPLP (-2.1%) were the major contributors. Investors remained skeptical over lack of clarity on the Finance Bill and IMF deal. Going forward, investors are recommended to stay cautious and adopt a buy-on-dip strategy in the Banking and E and P sectors.
