Jubilee Life Honors Caregivers in an Inclusive Celebration

Karachi: Jubilee Life Insurance, the prominent private sector life insurance company in Pakistan, recently hosted an event that celebrated the steadfast support of parents and caregivers of persons with disabilities (PWDs). The initiative, titled "Lights. Camera. Inclusion.", aimed to honor these unsung heroes through a collaborative campaign that brought together PWDs, their families, and community partners such as ConnectHear and NOWPDP.

According to Jubilee Life Insurance, the event, held in partnership with Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) and Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP), was designed to coincide with Mother's Day and Father's Day. By offering an inclusive movie experience, the initiative sought to provide a space where families could connect and feel recognized and appreciated not only for their challenges but also for their contributions to overcoming them.

The gathering included representatives from Jubilee Life, KVTC, KDSP, and partner organizations, highlighting the importance of human connection and a shared sense of belonging in building an inclusive community. Javed Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO of Jubilee Life Insurance, emphasized the critical role of caregivers in enabling individuals to surmount barriers and reach their potential. He noted that while their impact is often overlooked, it is indeed immeasurable.

Farukh Iftekhar, Group Head HRMD at Jubilee Life Insurance, reiterated the significance of acknowledging the everyday acts of resilience and love that form the backbone of many success stories. He stated that true inclusion transcends workplace achievements and recognizes the journey of perseverance and advocacy that families undertake.

The initiative is part of Jubilee Life's comprehensive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda, aligning with its Environmental, Social, and Governance commitments.
