Karachi: In an uncontested election, Junaid Naqi was appointed as the President of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), alongside Ejaz Ahmed Sheikh and Syed Tariq Hussain who were elected as Senior Vice President and Vice President, respectively.
According to Korangi Association of Trade and Industry, the election results were announced during a gathering where outgoing president Johar Kandahari and other senior members of KATI were present. The assembly recognized the efforts of the former presidents and chairmen in elevating the status and operational quality of KATI. Zubair Chhaya, Deputy Patron-in-Chief of KATI, expressed confidence that under Junaid Naqi's leadership, KATI will continue to prosper and achieve greater success.
The outgoing president, Johar Kandahari, praised Junaid Naqi as a capable leader who is essential for the ongoing development of the Korangi Industrial Area. Naqi himself expressed gratitude towards the patron-in-chief, deputy patron-in-chief, and all former leaders for their trust and support, and committed to advancing the interests of KATI's members and the broader business community based on the principles laid down by previous leaders.
