K-Electric Urged to Ensure Power Supply for Karachi’s Matriculation Exams Amid Heatwave

Karachi, As matriculation exams commence in Karachi, the ongoing extensive load shedding has become a significant hurdle for approximately 365,000 students enrolled in the 9th and 10th grade exams, exacerbating the already challenging conditions due to severe heat. Prominent social leader Zahid Rahim has called on K Electric and local authorities to provide a stable electricity supply to examination centers to facilitate students during their exams.

According to K-Electric, Zahid Rahim, founder and chairman of Khittam Awam Welfare Organization, has reached out to various officials including the CEO of K Electric, the Education Minister, the Chairman of the Matriculation Board, and the Commissioner of Karachi, urging them to guarantee uninterrupted power during the exam period. This step is deemed crucial to prevent further stress and discomfort for the youth of Karachi amidst the prevailing extreme temperatures.

Rahim expressed hope that K Electric will take prompt and effective measures to ensure that the examination centers are equipped with the necessary power supply, thus safeguarding the academic future of the city’s youth during this critical time.
