Karachi: The Central Depository Company (CDC), in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and various capital market entities, is hosting the “Investor Weekend 2024” at Dolmen Mall Clifton from October 11 to 13. This event, part of the global World Investor Week 2024 initiative, aims to educate the public on safe investment practices and promote a robust investment culture in Pakistan.

According to Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, the event will be inaugurated by notable figures including Mr. Abdul Rehman Warraich and Mr. Mujtaba Ahmad Lodhi, Commissioners of SECP, alongside Mr. Farrukh H. Sabzwari, Chairman of CDC, and Mr. Badiuddin Akber, CEO of CDC. Representatives from top asset management companies and brokerage houses will also participate.

The Investor Weekend 2024 will transform the ground floor arena of Dolmen Mall Clifton into a hub for financial learning and networking. Participating organizations such as ABL Funds, AKD Securities, Al-Habib Funds, and others will provide insights and experiences to assist attendees in making informed investment decisions. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance financial literacy and support the development of Pakistan’s capital market.
