Karachi: Javed Alam Odho, the Additional Inspector General of Police in Karachi, has committed to enhancing security measures in the North Karachi industrial area, promising comprehensive support and resource deployment to combat crime and ensure a safer environment for industrial operations.
According to North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry, during a recent meeting with local industrial leaders, AIG Odho vowed to utilize all available resources to improve law and order. The meeting included prominent figures such as Faisal Moiz Khan, President of NKATI, and other senior members from the community and crime monitoring committees.
Faisal Moiz Khan highlighted the current security challenges faced by the area and outlined the critical need for stable peace and order to foster industrial growth. He expressed gratitude towards the police for bolstering the crime monitoring cell with additional personnel and emphasized the potential economic benefits of a secure and thriving industrial sector on national prosperity.
The commitments from the police chief come as the industrial community in North Karachi seeks to expand production activities and boost exports, aiming to contribute significantly to alleviating the country’s economic challenges.
