KARACHI: The Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) has congratulated Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir on his recent promotion to Field Marshal, marking him as the second military leader in Pakistan's history to achieve this distinguished rank.
Junaid Naqi, President of KATI, expressed profound admiration for Field Marshal Munir's leadership and strategic acumen, noting that his elevation is a significant source of pride for both the army and the nation. Naqi emphasized that the federal cabinet's decision to promote Munir reflects the collective will and admiration of the people.
Naqi highlighted the impact of recent military operations, including "Operation Haq" and "Bunyan-um-Marsoos," executed under Munir's command. He described these operations as strategically exceptional and key in uniting a divided nation.
