Karachi: The Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) commemorated the third anniversary of its former Patron-in-Chief, SM Muneer, with Quran recitation and special prayers attended by notable figures from the business and industrial sectors. The gathering highlighted Muneer's enduring impact on Pakistan's economy.
KATI President Muhammad Ikram Rajput extolled Muneer's contributions, declaring them worthy of being remembered in "golden words." He emphasized that Muneer's efforts for economic stability were unparalleled, describing him as a leader born once in centuries. Rajput noted that KATI remains committed to Muneer's vision, emphasizing his dedication to empowering the business community.
Rajput also praised SM Muneer's son, SM Tanvir, for continuing his father's legacy by uniting the business community and strengthening Muneer's visionary mission.
Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya reflected on his personal experiences with Muneer, calling him an "institution in himself." Chhaya emphasized the collective responsibility to uphold Muneer's mission with dedication.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for Muneer's forgiveness and elevated ranks, honoring his significant contributions to industry and commerce. The event was attended by a large number of KATI office-bearers and members, reaffirming their commitment to the values of unity and economic progress championed by Muneer.
