Gujrat: Deputy Commissioner Safdar Hussain Warraich has officially announced the approval and imminent start of the construction of the Kharian-Kotha Gujran to Dinga road in Gujrat. This development aims to significantly improve local infrastructure and connectivity.

According to Zameen.Com, the project encompasses the construction of a 9-kilometer road with a budget allocation of PKR 249 million. Deputy Commissioner Warraich has directed the Highways Department to hasten the legal and administrative processes to ensure the project not only begins without delay but also meets its completion deadline without compromising on quality standards.

To further enhance oversight and ensure transparency in execution, Tehsil Monitoring Committees have been formed across the district. These committees, led by respective Assistant Commissioners, also include members such as the Assistant Director of Local Government and Municipal Officers of Services.

These committees are responsible for supervising the progress of this and other developmental projects, providing weekly updates directly to the Deputy Commissioner. This structured approach is intended to streamline project management and uphold accountability at every stage of development.
