Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Achieves 41% Increase in Revenue Collection

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province has recorded a significant 41% increase in revenue collection for the first quarter of the fiscal year, signaling a robust improvement in its financial management and tax policies.

According to Zameen.Com, the KP Revenue Authority successfully collected PKR 10.82 billion during this period, marking a substantial rise from the PKR 7.69 billion collected in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This growth notably exceeds the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) 25% increase reported for the same timeframe.

Aslam also noted the importance of benchmarking KP’s fiscal performance against other provinces such as Punjab and Sindh to further contextualize these gains. This comparison aims to highlight effective tax strategies that contribute to enhanced fiscal stability and support for public services in the region.
