Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has released the updated Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR) for various tenors, reflecting the current borrowing costs in the financial markets. The rates indicate slight variations across different time periods, providing an insight into the short-term interest trends in the country.
According to State Bank of Pakistan, the KIBOR for a one-week tenor is set with a bid rate of 10.19% and an offer rate of 10.69%. For a two-week and one-month tenor, both have a bid rate of 10.24% and an offer rate of 10.74%. The three-month tenor shows a bid rate of 10.22% and an offer rate of 10.47%.
Furthermore, the six-month tenor is recorded with a bid rate of 10.23% and an offer rate of 10.48%. The nine-month and one-year tenors have a consistent bid rate of 10.23% and an offer rate of 10.73%. These rates are significant indicators for financial institutions and businesses in planning their financial strategies.
