KIBOR Rates for Various Tenors Released by State Bank of Pakistan

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has announced the latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR) for different tenors, providing financial institutions and businesses with updated lending and borrowing rates. The KIBOR serves as a critical benchmark for various banking operations and financial transactions across the country.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the new rates indicate a bid of 11.41% and an offer of 11.91% for a one-week tenor. The rates for a two-week tenor are slightly higher, with a bid of 11.42% and an offer of 11.92%. For a one-month tenor, the bid stands at 11.50%, with the offer reaching 12.00%. The three-month tenor has a bid rate of 11.70% and an offer rate of 11.95%.

The data also reveals that the six-month tenor has a bid of 12.10% and an offer of 12.35%, while the nine-month tenor rates are set at a bid of 12.11% and an offer of 12.61%. The one-year tenor shows a bid of 12.14% and an offer of 12.64%. These rates reflect the cost of borrowing between banks and are often used as a reference in setting interest rates on various financial products.
