Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has released the latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) figures, which show consistent rates across various tenors as the year concludes.
According to the data sourced from Refinitiv, the one-week, two-week, and one-month KIBOR rates are all set at a bid of 10.33% and an offer of 10.83%. The three-month rate is marginally higher, with a bid of 10.38% and an offer of 10.63%.
The six-month KIBOR stands at a bid of 10.40% and an offer of 10.65%, while the nine-month and one-year rates have a uniform bid of 10.41% and an offer of 10.91%.
These figures highlight the stability in short-term borrowing costs for financial institutions in Pakistan as the calendar year comes to a close. The State Bank's data provides insight into the cost of interbank borrowing, which is a crucial indicator of the financial market's health.
