KIBOR Rates See Marginal Increases Across Most Tenors

Karachi: The Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) has shown marginal increases across most tenors, reflecting subtle movements in the financial markets. The one-week and two-week tenors have seen their bid and offer rates slightly adjusted, continuing a pattern observed over recent weeks.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the one-week tenor is now posted at a bid rate of 11.38 and an offer rate of 11.88. The two-week tenor follows closely with a bid rate of 11.40 and an offer rate of 11.90. Meanwhile, the one-month tenor rates stand at 11.47 for the bid and 11.97 for the offer.

The three-month tenor has a bid rate of 11.52 and an offer rate of 11.77, while the six-month tenor shows rates at 11.73 and 11.98, respectively. The nine-month tenor's bid rate is marked at 11.80, with the offer rate at 12.30. Lastly, the one-year tenor has a bid rate of 11.84 and an offer rate of 12.34.

These figures are reflective of the current financial climate and serve as a benchmark for lending and borrowing in the country. The State Bank of Pakistan continues to monitor the situation as these rates impact a range of financial products and services.
