KIBOR Rates Show Marginal Fluctuations Across Tenors

Karachi: The Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) showed slight variations across different tenors according to the latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan. The rates, which are used as a benchmark for lending, reflect the cost of borrowing among banks.

For the one-week tenor, the bid rate is set at 10.84, while the offer rate is at 11.34. The two-week tenor displayed a minor increase, with a bid rate of 10.86 and an offer rate of 11.36.

The one-month tenor recorded a bid rate of 10.88 and an offer rate of 11.38. Meanwhile, the three-month tenor saw the bid rate at 10.90 and the offer rate at 11.15, indicating a slightly narrower margin compared to other tenors.

For the six-month tenor, the bid rate was reported at 10.94 and the offer rate at 11.19. The nine-month tenor showed a bid rate of 10.97 and an offer rate of 11.47.

The one-year tenor concluded with a bid rate of 10.99 and an offer rate of 11.49.

These figures are part of the regular updates provided by the State Bank of Pakistan to inform financial institutions and stakeholders of the current interbank lending rates.
