According to State Bank of Pakistan: The latest figures reveal that the one-week tenor is set at a bid of 11.39 and an offer of 11.89, while the two-week tenor stands at 11.41 bid and 11.91 offer. For longer tenors, the one-month rate is 11.46 for bidding and 11.96 for offering. The three-month tenor shows a bid of 11.54 and an offer of 11.79. The six-month tenor has increased slightly to a bid of 11.77 and an offer of 12.02. Furthermore, the nine-month rates are 11.86 bid and 12.36 offer, while the one-year rate reaches a bid of 11.91 and an offer of 12.41.
These rates are pivotal for banks in determining the cost of interbank borrowing and lending, subsequently influencing the lending rates for businesses and consumers.
