KIBOR Rates Show Slight Variations Across Tenors

Karachi: The latest report on the Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) reveals minor shifts in bid and offer rates across various tenors. The data, which spans from a one-week to a one-year tenor, provides insight into the current state of interbank lending rates in Pakistan.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the one-week and two-week tenors both show a bid rate of 10.23 and an offer rate of 10.73. The one-month tenor slightly decreases to a bid of 10.22 against an offer of 10.72. For the three-month tenor, the bid and offer rates are set at 10.25 and 10.50, respectively. Meanwhile, the six-month tenor shows a bid rate of 10.27 and an offer rate of 10.52.

For longer tenors, the nine-month and one-year rates are both listed with a bid of 10.26 and an identical offer rate of 10.76. This data reflects the current borrowing landscape, offering a snapshot of the interbank market's dynamics as impacted by various economic factors.
