KIBOR Rates Show Stability Across Tenors

Karachi: The latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR) reveal a consistent trend in borrowing costs across various tenors, with the one-year rate reaching 12.34 percent. Short-term rates, such as the one-week and two-week tenors, are set at 11.88 percent and 11.89 percent, respectively, while the three-month rate stands at 11.75 percent.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the KIBOR rates, which serve as a benchmark for lending and borrowing in the financial markets, have shown minimal fluctuation. The six-month and nine-month tenors are offered at 11.96 percent and 12.30 percent, respectively. This stability in KIBOR rates indicates a steady financial environment in the country's banking sector.
