KIBOR Rates Steady as State Bank of Pakistan Releases Latest Figures

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has released the latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR), showing stability across various tenors as of June 11, 2025. The rates reflect the financial institution's ongoing efforts to maintain economic equilibrium.

The KIBOR for a one-week tenor stands at a bid of 10.89 and an offer of 11.39, while the two-week tenor is slightly lower, with a bid of 10.87 and an offer of 11.37.

For the one-month tenor, the bid is set at 10.83, with an offer of 11.33. The three-month tenor shows a bid of 10.88 and an offer of 11.13, indicating a minor fluctuation compared to shorter tenors.

Longer-term tenors, including the six-month and nine-month, have bids of 10.90 and 10.92, with corresponding offers of 11.15 and 11.42, respectively. The one-year tenor mirrors the nine-month rates.

These figures provide a snapshot of the current interbank borrowing climate in Pakistan, as financial institutions adjust to the prevailing economic conditions. The rates are crucial for banks when determining the cost of borrowing and lending in the interbank market.
