KIBOR Rates Updated by State Bank of Pakistan

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has released the latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR), showing slight adjustments across various tenors. The rates, effective as of September 29, 2026, indicate minor differences between bid and offer rates over periods ranging from one week to one year.

According to State Bank of Pakistan, the bid and offer rates for the one-week and two-week tenors stand at 11.43% and 11.93%, respectively. The one-month tenor shows a bid rate of 11.48% and an offer rate of 11.98%. For the three-month period, the rates are 11.58% for bids and 11.83% for offers. The six-month tenor indicates a bid rate of 11.80% and an offer rate of 12.05%, while the nine-month period reflects bid and offer rates of 11.89% and 12.39%. The one-year tenor shows a bid rate of 11.93% and an offer rate of 12.43%.

The updated figures provide financial institutions with a benchmark for lending and borrowing in the interbank market, reflecting current economic conditions. These rates are closely monitored as they impact various financial products and services across the country.
